What is Coaching

It starts with me holding hope and encouragement for you.
I provide the space for you to talk about yourself.
My approach is inclusive, accepting, working with you, being gently interested, accepting where you are while envisaging your forward progress.
I help elicit your own history in a clear way even if you might have had some difficulty communicating that.
I apply the premise that ‘the distance between you & others is the distance between me & myself’.

My  skills

I actively listen with my whole body.
Helping you connect to your own biology & physiology so you can generate insight into your own behaviours.
Providing psycho-education so you learn how to connect to your breath.
Applying ‘clinical acumen’  (as its called in the nursing world) to help clarify your challenges
Working with you as can explore possible solutions.
Giving direct and sensitive feedback.
Supporting as you explore the challenges you are facing and discover what matters to you.
Companioning you and being with you, on your health & well-being journey.
